Privacy Policy — Delta Eta Member Portal

The Delta Eta Member Portal (“the app”) is the private member platform of Delta Eta (“the chapter”). This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect.Account details you provide (name, email, phone number, class year, photo); chapter records (dues charges and payments, event RSVPs and attendance, form submissions, announcements and responses, photos you upload to the chapter timeline and boards); and, only at the moment you clock in to a required chapter event, your device's location — used once to verify you are at the chapter house, stored as a verified/not-verified check-in. The app does not track your location at any other time.

How it's used. Solely to run the chapter: directories, dues bookkeeping, attendance, communications, and chapter history. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising. Data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase, Vercel) in the United States.

Who can see it. Access follows chapter roles: members see member content, chapter officers additionally see the records their office requires (attendance, dues, submissions), and parents/alumni see only their own portals. Access is enforced by database-level security rules.

Your choices. You can edit your profile in the app. You can delete your account at any time from My Profile → Delete my account, which permanently removes your login, profile, dues history, RSVPs, check-ins, and subscriptions; content you posted to shared boards remains without your name attached. You can also email us (below) to request deletion.
